StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her breakout role was in Miss Bala (2011), an Mexican crime-drama film. She also appeared in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was a star in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both shows. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, to an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. Sigman is a U.S. citizen through her father. [2][3][4] Her brother and baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was formerly married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career in the field of Mexican television, and later made her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She played the lead role in Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala) in the film, which is a Mexican crime-drama. The film was selected as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8But, it did not make the cut. In recognition of her performance in the film, Sigman was nominated in the year 2011 for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award.
