Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, being the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of performances as a kid and watching her mom doing her job. At the beginning of her career Anna appeared in a number of commercials for television. In the month of November, 1999 Anna moved to Toronto to advance her acting career, eventually making the move to Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at a Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her partner in the year 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows at the Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo's relationship with Lauren who was played by Zoie Parker, was included on CNN's list of the Top TV Couples that have ever existed and was named E!'s Top TV Couple for 2013.
